Bitcoin-only & air-gapped hardware wallets

Devices built mainly for Bitcoin, several of which can sign without ever being plugged into a computer.

COLDCARD seed-generation advisory (July 2026). Coinkite reports that a firmware bug weakened seed generation and that attackers regenerated affected keys offline and stole funds. Fixed releases exist (Mk4/Mk5 standard 5.6.0+, Q 1.5.0Q+; recommended 5.6.3 / 1.5.3Q as of their 1 Oct 2026 update), but updating does not repair a seed created on affected firmware: such seeds must be migrated to a new wallet. Read coldcard.com/security/status and the migration guide before using a COLDCARD.
